2026 Notice

Hello there,

If you're reading this you might have been a regular visitor of Frontcover for your source of world news.

Due to multiple factors — including a lack of time and reduced energy to keep working in the project's original vision — I've taken the decision to stop working on Frontcover.

Frontcover was a news aggregator with the aim of providing news, opinions and perspectives from hundreds of sources in a consumable way, with the intent of preventing ideological silos and capture from algorithmic echo chambers.

I've worked on it since 2018.
It taught me immensely about technology, product and, through it, I improved my media literacy and criticism, my understanding of influence networks, of social media and much more. I discovered new news sources, writers and thinkers.

What comes next? I don't know yet.
I am still very much interested in the problem of news and information in an increasingly chaotic world. I will likely write about what I've learned over the years and repurpose the Frontcover domain for something interesting. We'll see.

I recommend some alternatives for keeping up with the news, such as newsminimalist.com, particle.news or ground.news [I am not affiliated to any of those. They are just good, modern executions of news aggregators].
